For lack of anything better to do until Mal wakes up, I've been designing my own chucks at the Converse site. The most expensive custom pair I can create is, with tax and shipping, about the same price as buying a pair off the rack at the flea market here.

Not that I'm going to do either. I miss my peach hi-tops from the 80s, but my next shoe purchase will be to replace my combat boots. They are vintage, and so nicely broken in, and they've saved my (life?) leg from destruction, but they are at the end of their service life.

Raq, if you want I can pick up any kind of normal Chucks at the Converse Outlet store here and mail them to you...not custom, but still nice!
