Three-Day Week
Jan. 6th, 2006 08:23 amToday is Epiphany, which is an official holiday in Greece, so we have the day off. With Monday off for New Year, it was a big old 3-day work week - the best kind. I'm finally starting to make some progress at my job...but considering I haven't been paid yet, I'm not overly stressed about my slow ramp-up.
I got my first haircut in a long time - she cut about half my hair off. A lot of the color went with it, so almost no red left. Which is okay. I'll leave it more or less natural for a bit I think.
The hairdresser has a "self-serve" manicure tray, with a bunch of nail polishes. I have about 30 bottles of polish, mostly full, that I never wear (too much cooking and working), and I'm wondering if it would be weird to ask her if she wants them.
I also have a bunch of makeup I bought, used once, and haven't used since, that I don't know what to do with. Anyone want it?
