Robert's father arrives tomorrow, so I have to do more about meals than fry up a piece of meat and wash some spinach. Fortunately he's not as picky an eater as Robert, but he is not very experimental either. He'll be here a week or a little more, and I'm sure we'll take him to a taverna at least one of those nights, and probably do leftovers a couple times.

Anyway, here's what I'm thinking:

Wasabi-rubbed roast beef
Yorkshire Pudding
Braised Fennel with White Wine and Parmesan
Lemon Bundt Cake

Green Chile Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas
Apple-Beet Salad
Fallen Chocolate Cake (or brownies, if no time)

Artisan bread with local olive oil
Fennel-Orange Salad with Black Olives and Mint
Chicken Piccata
Baklava

Pork Chops
Roasted Green Beans
Sauteed Mushrooms
Cherry Pie
